Seeking an explanation and apology from the CBC

Dear Mr. Bratina,

I am writing to complain about being mistreated by your government's news organization, the CBC.

I am seeking an apology and an explanation from the CBC for their abusive behavior in regard to censoring some of my comments on one of their pages.

On Monday, December 30, 2019 the CBC posted an article in the Business·Analysis section titled, "What you can do in 2020 to keep the world from burning up," by Don Pittis.

The article included a comments section. As I write this note, almost 4,000 comments have been published with the exception of my own.

Initially, I posted two comments on the site. My comments showed a healthy skepticism with respect the climate change narrative that has so dominated the news these last three decades.

Here is the first one,

===

"I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait for it to get warm enough to go fishing again.

To speed things up, I rented some greenhouses in the country near here and turned the CO2 generators on full blast. Then I opened all of the windows. I also kept my car running 24/7, even while parked in the driveway. It seems to have worked somewhat since this Christmas has been unusually warm and there has been little snow. I also try to eat as much meat as I can afford.

I have been doing my part to prevent another ice age from coming despite Liberal policies aimed at making Canadians freeze in the dark.

And of course, I celebrate Earth Hour every year with gusto!"

---

I included a link to a YouTube video of myself celebrating Earth Hour back in 2009.

Celebrating Earth Hour.

===

In accordance with CBC's commenting guidelines, my comment contained absolutely nothing that could be described as offensive and likely to expose an individual or a group of individuals to hatred or contempt on the basis of race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age or mental or physical disability - as you can plainly see.

===

I posted a second comment which was also clearly within the stated CBC guidelines that you can read in the screenshot here,

The link in the screenshot points to
Hiding The Hot Past
by Tony Heller.

===

A short while later, I observed that the CBC moderator had disabled both of my comments. It was quite obvious that the reason my comments had been hidden from public view had absolutely nothing to do with violating CBC guidelines. I can only conclude that the moderator was abusing their power for personal reasons. Perhaps they didn't like my tone, or my opinion, or my name. None of that should play any role in determining whether or not others have the opportunity to hear my position on these issues.

This marginalization of my contribution to public discussion really hurt my feelings and did palpable harm to my sense of personal dignity and self worth. I've been trying very hard to stay away from alcohol and marijuana but this painful episode was almost enough to start me off drinking heavily again.

I realize that, given your party affiliation, you probably do not sympathize with my opinions on the climate change debate, but do you not agree that I have as much right as any other Canadian citizen to participate in that debate?

If you do agree that I have a right to civic inclusion in Canada, then I wonder if you could use the facilities at your disposal to contact the CBC moderator who has treated me with such heartless indifference and, at the very least, obtain an explanation or justification from this person, or persons, as to why my opinion does not deserve to be heard along with the other almost 4,000 people who did have their comments published. (Many of whom, by the way, are in clear violation of CBC's stated guidelines by attacking others based upon what they clearly regard as mental disabilities.)

It would be even better if you could get that person or persons to admit to their wrongdoing and provide me with a personal apology in addition to an explanation.

===

For a more complete picture of this horribly painful experience at the hands of this publicly funded news organization I have included several more screenshots of my deleted comments which, after the first two, represent my muted protests at this form of editorial bullying.

---

Thank you for your time and patience. I look forward to your response.

Yours sincerely,

Hans Wienhold
Stoney Creek, Ontario

Please note: I reserve the right to publish your response on my blog and in any areas of social media that have not, as yet, adopted the CBC's exclusionary policies.

My wish for 2020 and beyond:

As posted in the comments section of We asked: What are your 3 wishes for Hamilton in 2020? and removed by their commissars within the next 20 hours.

Our LGBTQ+ communities, our black and Indigenous communities, our Muslim and Jewish communities, and our disabled communities, to name a few will never have another bad year.

There will be no more austerity budgets and there will be loads of money to invest in people, in housing, in sustainable infrastructure and transit. No more time will run out and no one will ever die again. Our elected officials will recognize that and act.

Large groups of people will organize and say "enough is enough." Then smaller groups of people, like Hamilton ACORN, the Disability Justice Network of Ontario, Environment Hamilton, and the Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion will call all the shots. Dissenters will be incarcerated or executed, or put to work building bike lanes and speed bumps.

No child or adult should have to wonder if they will be safe or if they will wake up from the frigid weather because they have no shelter or wonder if and when their next meal will be. Therefore, the government should tax all private income 100% at source and provide each member of society with their right to food and shelter. All fossil fuels should be banned to save the planet and deliver these rights.

Bring back life skills to elementary schools like how to fashion tools out of stone and how to hunt for fish and game.

All members of our community and vulnerable persons will feel included and heard.

Bullying will become a thing of the past, unless you try to avoid paying taxes or misgender someone. Or smoke a cigarette indoors.

Let's put a real value on the tremendous natural assets we have in Hamilton. The entire city of Hamilton should be turned into a Greenway to allow local city residents to walk and cycle their way to local nature trails to experience the mental and spiritual rejuvenation that millennia of our ancestors naturally have imbedded into our DNA.

Let's go back to the way things were before Europeans invaded and stole the land. Then everyone will have housing and stable communities.  No one lived on the streets in 1491.

Every tenant in Hamilton has the right to a safe and healthy home. Therefore, anyone who has the means should be drafted into labour gangs and put to work providing these basic human rights.

Once we have achieved all of these goals more people talk to their neighbours and get involved in their building, neighbourhood and city.

People power!

Finally,

My wish is that all of the people of white, European ancestry, who have stolen this land from the aboriginal people (with the exception of those of Portuguese and Spanish extraction) be deported to Central and South America to deal with the problems they have caused down there. It's only fair.

There can be no better way to achieve an LRT, clean water, climate stasis, free housing, free dope, civic inclusion, social justice, and female Santas. There will be no crime so we won't have to worry about rehabilitation.

I don't know if we'll still have indoor bathrooms though.

This wish was inspired by We asked: What are your 3 wishes for Hamilton in 2020?

Now this...

and this...

The purge continues. Now I've been sentenced to the CBC gulag.

I'm wondering if it was just one violation, or all three?

I think I'll go with uncivil sarcasm. How could they tell though? After all, my long comment was just a non sugar-coated version of the Communist Broadcasting Collective's own party line.

That's the thing about the left though, they don't like it at all when you spell out their agenda in words that even their opiated masses of "useful idiot" followers can understand.

Think about it. The CBC is the de facto propaganda organ of Canada's governing elitesp . Their Stalinesque "No man? No problem." approach to monitoring (and governing) opinion and information is a foretaste of how they would like to govern all of society, as an open prison camp. (as Alex Jones or someone similar pointed out prior to being de-personed themselves.)

I'd consider voluntarily moving to Central or South America, though I somehow doubt the progeny of the Conquistadors would welcome me with open arms either, even as they, themselves, are being encouraged en masse to become Democrat voters in the U.S.

Where else could someone like me go? The range of options seems to be getting smaller all the time. I certainly could NOT go back to where I came from since the U.K. and Germany have already become more extreme versions of CBC ideology in concrete political form - not just censorship but real fines and jail time. (Though there are no firing squads and labour camps, at least not yet.)

Where else is there? Russia? Who'd've thunk I'd even be considering THAT just a few years ago?

Hopefully my enthusiastic support for Putin's water-carrier in the White House will make it easier to get my Russian green card.

BS Detection Services Provides Essential Investment Advice

Uncertain times make it especially difficult to decide how you should invest your hard earned money. Bonds? Stocks? Cash? Gold? Beer and Smokes?

Well, here is a bullet proof solution....

by Harvey "M" Stwartkeimer
Financial Advisor, a volunteer at the League for the Short of Money.

30/Jun/2006

Though recently bankrupt myself, I, Professor Harvey "M" Stwartkeimer have given a great deal of thought to reversing my situation.

The importance of compiling and publishing a list of fairly commonly used investments that can cause either ThinnItis (Thin Wallet) and/or Money loss is self-evident.

Usually, these problems are reversible; that is, the Money loss is corrected when the investment is discontinued. But there are still infrequent times when this change can be permanent. If someone is experiencing a Money problem or if there is a Money disorder in the family, it is imperative the Financial Advisor be aware of this fact. If a person has bought into one of the investments found on this list, (s)he should speak to the Financial Advisor to see if another, potentially less foolish investment could be used in its place.

This information is very important to a Financial Advisor. Armed with it, (s)he may then be able to promote an investment that would have a potentially less mitigating effect on money. The likelihood of having a problem with money from the use of one of these investments is usually extremely small. The investments with the greatest potential to cause a money loss are usually used only in life-threatening situations.

Remember, the Financial Advisor is the person best qualified to determine which investment is best for you. It is important that (s)he be aware of not only any real or potential problems concerning money, but also of any other conditions which may be present that would influence the selection of investment.

Investments That Can Cause Money Loss

  • Mutual Funds
  • GIC's
  • Saving's Accounts
  • Real Estate
  • Gold
  • Stocks
  • Bonds

The loss of money with the above investments appear to be closely related to the amount of money invested and are almost always reversible once these investments are discontinued.

The best investments are lottery tickets. Yes, it is true buyers of lottery tickets don't always win. But the one's that do will often find they have won enough to buy another lottery ticket investment. An investment approach can be used to buy a fixed dollar amount of the same lottery ticket on a regular schedule over a long time span. This will reduce the average cost per ticket because some winning tickets can be used to purchase the next batch.

In Ontario, lottery tickets are produced by the OLG (Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation), a Crown Agency, created by the Government of Ontario. The Government of Ontario is currently run by a group of people who really care about Ontarians. We can trust them if they tell us about all of the wonderful things that can happen to us if we buy their tickets.

One thing that may puzzle the new lottery ticket investor is the disclaimer on the OLG website which says, "(OLG) products are designed for the entertainment of adults in the Province of Ontario, Canada."

But...

Y'know....

It seems unlikely anyone would buy lottery tickets just for entertainment purposes. I mean, does anyone really buy into that crap?

But Gov. Inc. keeps on pushing the idea so it must be a good thing. Right? (Think of nice things Gov. Inc. has done for you. Think of "Family Day," .... a "gift" from Dalton McGuinty - what a nice man. He wouldn't be trying to con you, would he? I mean, he really cares about YOU!)

I have designed an experiment to test the theory that people buy lottery tickets for entertainemt purposes. You need a table, a chair, a pile of blank pieces of paper and a garbage can. Go to some place like a hospital or a nursing home where you see someone selling instant lottery tickets. Except for the lottery tickets they are selling they will have exactly the same equipment as you; a chair, a table and a garbage can.

Next Step: Set up your table, chair and garbage can and put up a sign which says, "Blank Tickets for Sale - Entertainment Purposes Only." If after several hours of experimentation your garbage can has nothing in it while the lottery seller's can just get's fuller and fuller you will have shown that consumers are really not entertained at all by the act of buying pieces of paper just to throw them into a trash container.

No, the real reason people buy lottery tickets is as an investment.

One good investment is the "Cash for Life" instant lottery ticket. According to the OLG website, The Cash for Life Lottery has, in addition to the $1000 a week for life jackpot, "Lots of additional cash prizes, including $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000."

All the successful lottery ticket investor needs to do is win the jackpot or one of these additional cash prizes, of which, we are told, there are "lots". So you see, you don't have to worry about winning the grand prize right away. Go for one of the "lots" of additional cash prizes then re-invest your winnings in more lottery tickets.

After a period of time you will get up to one of the "lots" of $50,000 prizes. With $50,000 smackeroos you can now invest in 12,500 more Cash for Life tickets which will give you 12,500 in 1.25 million chances of winning the grand prize.

This intelligent approach to lottery investment has now brought the investor to a point where his odds of winning have been greatly increased. Where only one Cash for Life ticket gives the owner 1 chance in 1.25 million of winning the grand prize our smart lottery ticket buyer has narrowed those odds to 1 in 100!

Even if our investor doesn't win the grand prize this time he will almost certainly win something. For example, there is one chance in 2000 of winning a $50 prize in the cash for life lottery. So our investor has an excellent chance of winning 12,500 divided by 2000 equals 6.25 $50 prizes for a grand total of 312 dollars and fifty cents!!!

By re-investing this $312 in more lottery tickets at $4 each our investor can now buy 78 more Cash for Life tickets! The odds of winning $10 in the Cash for Life lottery are 1 in 83.33. One does not have to be a wizard in math to see that our investor, with 78 tickets has an excellent shot of winning the $10 prize. He will also have a shot at some 2X, 3X and 4X wins as well as some of the smaller $6 or $4 prizes.

Say our investor has managed to win $20 on his latest investment. By putting these winnings back into lottery tickets he has the opportunity to win even more money!

Through the magic of disciplined and wise lottery ticket investment our hypothetical investor has made quite a lot of money for himself. First there was the $50 grand. Then there was $312. In the third round of play our investor earned another $20.

Without doing hardly any work at all our investor has made himself a cool fifty-thousand, three hundred and thirty-two dollars in just three rounds of play!

Of course, it may have been noticed that our investor isn't left with too much money at the end of this first cycle of investment. As stated above, Lottery investment requires a great deal of self discipline. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Time in the lottery market will eventually pay off handsomly. The odds are that if you are consistent you will eventually win the grand prize.

For example, if you buy one Cash for Life ticket a day the odds are that you will win the grand prize in 1.25 million days = one-hundred and seventy-eight thousand, five-hundred and seventy-one weeks = three-thousand, four-hundred and thirty-four years - almost four millennia (about the length of recorded history).

This is not as large a span of time as it may seem, especially when compared to the age of the earth (4.5 billion years.)

Certainly, lottery investing requires a lot of time and patience. It is a good idea to get your children and grandchildren into the game as soon as possible. The amount of money that can be won is nothing short of amazing when time is properly factored in. For example, if you, one of your children, one of their children, and so on for the next 4.5 billion years were to buy one Cash for Life lottery ticket per day members of your family will have won the grand prize one-million, one-hundred and twenty-five thousand times by the time earth is only twice it's current age.

Skeptics may balk at this advice by saying that the purchase of one four dollar lottery ticket a day for the next 4.5 billion years would end up costing $6570000000000 dollars (6.57 trillion dollars) but they forget to take into account the "lots of additional cash prizes" that will be won during the same period.

Something to think about?

"He didn't like my choice in music."

Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics

"He didn't like my choice in music."

Diversity is our Strength.

Just after I uploaded my latest video I went over to Tim Horton's with my son to get him some breakfast.

At that time of day, 11:30 A.M. the place is usually packed with high school students from around the corner.

There were no tables so we went back and sat in the car as my son ate his food.

A van was parked beside me with what looked like students from the high school. They were all girls. I had to turn my radio off because their's was drowning mine out. They were playing the kind of music that Akim Aliu listens to. I could hear the n_____ this and n_____ that coming through along with the pounding bass.

One of the girls opened her window. I could hear her saying something about racism, rape, misogyny etc. Some big words in there. It was obvious that she was "educated."

Then the Thunbergian clone decided she would put put me against the wall, so to speak, by accosting me.

She: "Yo! Are you a Trump supporter?"

Me: "Yes."

She: "Don't you realize that he's a racist, rapist, misogynist," etc. and so on.

Oh the irony! She pretends to be offended by racism, rape, and misogyny while having her brain "marinated" in "music" that glorifies rape, misogyny, and even murder. Real nice, down home stuff.

Me: "Why? Who do you support?"

That was funny. She had no answer. Blank stare. Like a cornered animal. "Educated." She apparently couldn't name a single Democrat presidential nomination contender.

Of course, as an aging white male, already irritable after being serenaded by her "choice of music," I was in no mood to be polite. I told her she should educate herself a bit before opening her f*g yap.

After that she really got into debate mode. She called me every name in the book, including the aforementioned stream of erudition.

I had my "Keep America Great: Trump 2020" hat on. I'm guessing that had something to do with this event.

Holocaust Denial?

I've just finished reading a very interesting article that came to my inbox today from Paul Craig Roberts.

As a climate emergency skeptic, I have been aware of the efforts by the alarmists to denigrate people like myself as "deniers." It's a crass utilization of the argument from intimidation which is intended, not to counter one's views but rather, but to shame one into silence instead. (and when this doesn't work they resort to the now widespread practice of censorship, and when that doesn't work - incarceration and death.)

When you are called a "denier" you are being compared to anyone who dares question the OFFICIAL holocaust story. This has never worked for me because I don't like being told what to believe.

It has actually backfired and led me down a very different path. While I previously never doubted the OFFICAL holocaust story, now I do.

Also, here's part of a paragraph from the article linked below that PERFECTLY describes the evolution of my own thinking on the question,

"Meanwhile, the concurrent collapse of my belief in our official American Pravda narrative on so many other controversial topics played a major role as well. Once I realized to my dismay that I couldn’t believe a word of what our media and political leaders said about major events in the here and now, their credibility on controversial happenings so long ago and far away entirely disappeared. For these reasons, I had grown quite suspicious and held a very open mind on Holocaust matters..."

The very last paragraph says,

"Until thirty years ago, Communist rule over the USSR and its Warsaw Pact allies seemed absolutely permanent and unshakeable, but the roots of that belief had totally rotted away, leaving behind nothing more than a hollow facade. Then one day, a gust of wind came along, and the entire gigantic structure collapsed. I wouldn’t be surprised if our current Holocaust narrative eventually suffers that same fate, perhaps with unfortunate consequences for those too closely associated with having maintained it."

Perhaps I am being overly optimistic but dare I hope that the same fate will beset the Climate Change hoax as well in my lifetime?

They are still inviting me to sign their bogus Climate Emergency list!

They are still inviting me to sign their bogus Climate Emergency list!

Can you believe this?

They are still inviting me to sign their bogus Climate Emergency list! This message came this afternoon.

I was reluctant to forward this communication at first but then I noticed the appeal in paragraph 3 which says, "To help get this message to COP25 negotiators, other world leaders, and the public, please share on social media such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn."

So that is what I am doing. And I hope all of you will sign it too. Or at least click "like." In fact, I am kind of hoping that every internet joker on the planet will jump on board and sign up. How about this one? Dr.s Fine, Fine, and Fine, of the Los Arms Hospital in Tierra Del Fuego?

Why leave it at just Mickey Mouse? Let's get Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Quickdraw McGraw and Fred Flintstone on that list. And Professor what's his name from "Back to the Future," and oh, of course, the Professor from Gilligan's Island.

This could be more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Get Mr. Stubbs to sign it too!

Dear scientist, our paper “World Scientists’ Warning of a Climate Emergency” is now in BioScience magazine and here is the link which is open access https://doi.org/10.1093/biosci/biz088

The paper is being widely reported on by the mass media. We are now collecting more scientist signatures on the paper. Therefore, please sign if you have not already done so, and contact your colleagues about signing the paper too. Scientists can sign the paper at https://scientistswarning.forestry.oregonstate.edu/

The COP25 UN climate meetings are now taking place in Madrid, Spain, and we need your assistance to spread this declaration of a climate emergency. To help get this message to COP25 negotiators, other world leaders, and the public, please share on social media such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. A few sample tweets are shown below.

Thanks, Bill,

Someone should tell these people that AOC has publicly admitted that she was just joking about the world ending in twelve years.

Future Schlock

Alvin Toffler reputedly said, “A library is a hospital for the mind.” The Fake News media is starting to look more and more like the contents of a mind that is in a mental hospital. (Just check out the Schiff Show and the Nadler Circus currently playing in Washington.)

In Future Shock (1970,) Toffler wrote about people developing gills and webbed feet.

Some of Toffler's ideas were then recycled in 2015 and published as science news in The Telegraph.

Read the article here.

Back in 1976, I submitted an article to Mohawk College's student newspaper. I think the paper was called the "Phoenix" but I'm not sure. Anyway. It was a completely ridiculous joke article and I didn't expect it to be printed. To my surprise, they did print it.

At the time, I figured that the editor must have had a sense of humor. These days, who knows?

Then in 2019 I added my name to an online list of fake scientists......

Other Schlock

Here's a good one from Shree Paradkar's Twitter feed yesterday, "Intentions in racism don’t matter."

That sample of intellectual scintillation motivated me to pay her what was, perhaps the one and only complement she will ever get from me, "Excellent point, Shree. After all, I never intended to be born white but I'm guilty anyway." Of course, I do not suffer from one iota of guilt over that fact.

I don't have any particular bone to pick with Shree, any more than I have a bone to pick with that poor abused child, Greta Thunburg. She is just such an easy target as a resource for examples of the kind of inane nonsense that some children will come up with when given a sandbox to play in and encouraged to build fantastical structures with their fertile imaginations. And the thing about Shree, unlike her other race-baiting clones on Twitter like Desmond Cole, Andray Domise, Matthew Green, and others, Shree hasn't crawled under a Twitter rock by blocking me from seeing her creative work, though I'm quite certain she has "muted" me. ("I know nutting, I see nutting. I didn't even get up today.")

The whole Greta/Shree phenomenon reminds me of something I read in "A Primer on Freudian Psychology" back in Grade 11 about toilet training. When a child is being potty trained, you don't want to give them a guilt complex by scolding them when they have an accident. That could lead to problems like constipation. On the other hand, you must avoid going overboard with praise whenever they successfully complete a bowel movement or they might mistakenly conclude that they have created something of value. The problem only gets worse when it goes beyond childhood to be reinforced by school teachers, legacy "news" media, and politicians - all of whom were the victims of similar abuse.

In the cases of Greta and Shree, it's hard to speculate as to which errors their parents made since, despite their creative outputs, both appear also to suffer from severe constipation.

Let's face it, without a platform, funding, and promoters, both Greta and Shree would probably be wandering the streets wearing signs that say, "I Hate White People" and "The world is going to end in twelve years."

By the way, I just learned that AOC said she was only "joking" about the world ending in twelve years but here's the really funny part, she claims she didn't really think that people were actually stupid enough to believe her. Yeah, right.

Greta also created a stir the other day when she let the cat out of the bag and said,

"After all, the climate crisis is not just about the environment. It is a crisis of human rights, of justice, and of political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled it. We need to dismantle them all."

Yesterday, and with Greta's declaration in mind, I commented on a CBC report about Hamilton's "blueprint" to tackle its "climate change emergency."

I wrote a comment.

This is how it ended up.

In the Works

White Like Me: A Different Perspective

Monday, December 2, 2019

Now Greta says it's NOT just about the Environment

So Greta continues to stagger across the globe with her clattering collection of caliginous horseshit. If only the media, the politicians, and the public had a brain!

The Greta story is the twenty-first-century version of the Emperor with no clothes except this time it's not about strutting around naked and having everyone go Ooo! and Ahhh! at the amazing wardrobe, it's about strutting around stupid and having your sycophants pretend you're some kind of second coming.

And now there's this. After having to tolerate her pissing and moaning about how news reports about really bad weather in the future have stolen her childhood, she turns around and says this!

"After all, the climate crisis is not just about the environment. It is a crisis of human rights, of justice, and of political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled it. We need to dismantle them all."

Really? So she finally admits it's "not just about the environment," and I totally agree with her there. It NEVER WAS just about the environment, if it was about the environment at all. It was all part of an intellectual package deal intended to usher in world socialism. And since the rest of the BS they use to sell socialism to the public generally requires a sub 80 IQ to buy into, "climate change" has supposedly been sanctified by "science."

Since it NEVER WAS just about the environment then it is much more likely to have been a classic bait-and-switch sales con. You think you're being sold climate stasis but what they really intend to deliver is socialism. Duh!

I would like to see her extract and quantize those various components of her "problem" to see the exact percentage of her life that was ruined by government and media brainwashing. I hope she includes the nightmare scenarios her loving parents filled her young mind with when they should have been reading "The Cat in the Hat" to her at bedtime instead of Stephen King and Al Gore novels.

Ep. 516: Be Thankful for Capitalism

Well that didn't take long.

Do you know what REALLY PISSES ME OFF about censorship? It deprives the audience of any opportunity to determine FOR THEMSELVES whether or not the prohibited material does, in fact, contain so-called hate speech. It reflects the colossal arrogance of the gatekeepers in arrogating to themselves the RIGHT and the POWER to be the final judges of the information to which the public should have access.

In this time of rampant fake news, one cannot help but develop the very strong impression that so-called "hate speech" is ANYTHING that the self-appointed gatekeepers of THE TRUTH say it is, even if it ISN'T.

And that it could, in fact, even be the truth, or at least, contain elements of the truth as well as references to other material that would help any TRUTH SEEKER to further investigate the validity of any of the claims made.

That is just downright manipulation of information. It's pure brainwashing. It's downright dishonest.

Perhaps, worst of all, to anyone possessing half a neuron, is that it's all so FUCKING OBVIOUS!

---

Coincidence?

Call me paranoid but this is the first time I have had THIS problem in Blogger. All of a sudden, I can't embed images in my blogs. The image I wanted to upload was the screenshot of what you will see when you click on THIS LINK.

Oh! Now it's working.

Here it is again.

Having had plenty of time now to study how bullshit is spread, from the ETS scam to global warming and now the hysterical attempts to depose the lawfully elected president of the united states, it has motivated me to examine other areas of seemingly immutable "truth." You wouldn't believe the directions in which this process is taking me.

Oops! Censored! Imagine that?

Let it be known that, at this point, I have no opinion on the validity of the officially sanctioned and legally enforced holocaust story. Again, given what I have learned over the years I can be certain of only one thing. There is a lot of BS, fake history, hidden history, and fake news in the world today. You really can't believe anything you see or hear.

With this experience, I have growing confidence in my ability to sniff out BS at a much faster rate than I used to. For example, when the Fake News was spewing its reports about Assad gassing his own people I knew that THAT was a crock of shit from the get-go. A very handy tool in BS detection is to employ the old standby question, "cui bono?"

According to the notorious hate group, the Southern Poverty Law Center, BitChute site hosts "hate-fueled material". They don't want people to use BitChute.

The video that YouTube erased, unsurprisingly, can still be watched on BitChute. For now.

Questioning "Truth."

Update

Update on the Climate Fraudster List

View on BitChute

BS Detection and Analysis of the 11,000 signatures - Update.

Can we find out if there is any truth to the BS CBC claim that there are still 11,000 signatures on the "study?"

As I review the issue and roll things over in my mind, the whole shoddy process looks less and less like the work of people exercising scientific integrity and more and more like an impeachment farce driven by members of the American Democratic Party.

List of fake scientists declaring climate emergency followup

List of fake scientists declaring climate emergency followup

On Saturday, Nov 9, 2019, the Spectator published a BS piece on it's opinion page in an effort demonize the BS detectors who contributed to exposing the "List of fake scientists declaring [a] climate emergency."

This is another shining example of the arrogant attitude of the people who dominate the fake news media.

"Within hours of The Spectator’s Joanna Frketich reporting on the fake, the internet lit up with trolls, climate change deniers, flat earthers and libertarian conspiracy theorists all seizing on the fakes to discredit the petition."

Do you see how this works?

To emphasize my point, tell me seriously, how many "flat earthers" do you think were lighting up the internet in response to this report? I am actually surprised they didn't also choose to bundle Nazis, fascists, racists, and Trump supporters in with the libertarian knuckle draggers! This is how they sleaze-spin words to manipulate a sleepy public mind.

Also, was it Joanna Frketich's reporting that sparked this fire "within hours?" Their Youtube intro report has 178 views as of just now, or was it a result of the 80,526 views (Nov 10, 2019, 06:25) on Ezra Levant's Youtube report?

"To the 34 people — including a handful in Hamilton — who fraudulently signed a climate crisis warning,"

They are telling us that only 34 people fraudulently signed the *global* petition. Really?

And out of that 34 people, a "handful" came from Hamilton? Those estimates sound fishy right off the bat. I smell BS.

Does that 34 number include the,

"Social scientists [that] are also very much involved in climate change discussion because of the impact of climate change on our society. It's not necessarily the scientist that's working in a lab and doing that environmental work, but they could be doing work about how populations are going to need to adjust or respond to climate change."

and who, therefore, according to Bruce Newbold, from the advisory board of the McMaster University Centre for Climate Change, could have non-fraudulently signed on to that list?

That might include people like Professor Dan McKinnon, the city's public works manager, who is quoted in a CBC article (Apr 16, 2018) saying "as climate change worsens, road conditions will too." (Before long, they will be blaming ingrown toenails on climate change.) Certainly, he is supposed to be "doing work about how populations are going to need to adjust or respond to climate change," because of all the potholes on Hamilton streets. (How convenient!)

Or Professor Sam Sidawi, the city's head of asset management in 2018 who says in the same article, "Certainly, this is a climate change issue." (Not one of government incompetence.)

And let's not forget about Professor Justin Trudeau ("babies are scientists") and his colleague, Professor Catherine McKenna who are both doing a great job (more like con job,) "doing work about how populations are going to need to adjust or respond to climate change."

No wonder these clowns need a $600 million bailout from Professor Justin Trudeau.

Signed on November 20, 2019, by Professor Hans Wienhold, an expert in the science of BS detection and analysis, not currently affiliated with Mohawk College.

“But you know, I actually gave them some real advice. I said that if you actually say it louder, we’ve learned in the House of Commons, if you repeat it, if you say it louder, if that is your talking point, people will totally believe it,” Catherine McKenna.

Retired Hamilton cabbie gets himself on list of fake scientists declaring climate emergency

Climate Fraudsters

The exact text of my interview with Joanna Frketich

Why did you do it?

I did it because I was already aware that the claim that 97% of all climate scientists agree with the climate alarm was bogus, that many of them were not climate scientists but were rather activists and government hacks. I was curious about whether there would be any attempt to verify my credentials on this list before any publication touting the list of signatories.

I think I made my point.

What message would you like people to get from it?

The message is not to believe anything you are being told by the legacy corporate media. Their function is not to inform but rather to manipulate opinion in pursuit of a political agenda.

Were you surprised your name made it on the published list? Why or why not?

I was not surprised my name made it to that list because it has become all too obvious that "news," even if accurate, is distributed or withheld depending upon whether or not it promotes certain interests. Just take a look at the Amy Robach revelations that were recently publicized by Project Veritas.

Update: November 11, 2019

I am not satisfied with my answer to this question upon review because it doesn't really answer the question. This was not a deliberate attempt on my part to mislead.

What I should have said was that I was not surprised my name made it to that list because I believed the priority of the people generating the list was to inflate the numbers as much as possible to generate scary headlines. It seemed unlikely they would devote much effort toward quality control. Therefore, I was not surprised at the outcome.

What do you think this says about the BioScience article?

I haven't read the article.

Is it still accurate to call you a Hamilton cab driver?

The best description would be "Retired cab driver."

Do 97% of scientists actually agree on climate change?

My Halloween message.

Shower Dissidence

Shower Dissidence

I am always looking for a way to give my middle finger to the government.

Some people would say I am obsessed.

Back in the 1980s in Ontario, prepared meals totaling less than $4.00 were exempt from sales tax. So for years I almost never bought a meal for more than $4.00. The health food franchises I patronized were very helpful at first. You could get a 1/4 lb. combo at McD's for $3.99 and the other restaurants, like Harvey's and Wendy's, had similar deals.

If I wanted to spend a bit more, I would often order the items separately and ask for separate bills.

Inflation finally eliminated most of those combo deals, unfortunately.

Then the "progressives" at Hamilton City Hall prohibited smoking in cabs some time back in the 1990s. Prior to that, the rule was sensible and tolerant. Smoking was by mutual consent. I just ignored that bylaw without consequence for the next twenty years. Sometime around 2014 one of the city's Antifa type Gestapo employees snuck up on me and issued a fine for about $300. I figured that was worth it. $300 worked out to about $15 for each year I ignored the intrusion. I would have happily paid $15 a year for a smoking license anyway if I had to.

So I paid the fine and continued to ignore the mandate until I quit the business.

I don't like to be pushed around by the worms who wriggle their way into political power and then self-righteously tell me how I am to live my life.

Fuck them.

95% of what the government does is a net loss to society. The legitimate 5% of what they do, they do poorly, as in protecting people from criminals, or repairing roads. (And these are the same idiots who would have us believe they can control the climate.)

One thing I liked about living in a highrise apartment building was the garbage chute. I found garbage anonymity to be a plus.

The other thing I liked about living in the highrise was the shower. It was great. The pressure was strong and the temperature was consistent. It was pure luxury.

Then the building was sold and the new owners came around and installed these low-flow nozzles that delivered what could be best described as a mist rather than a shower and which, for some reason, caused wild temperature variations from freezing cold to scalding hot.

I sure as fuck didn't put up with that for very long. I started researching solutions to the problem. I got the idea of hacking showerheads from Jeffrey Tucker but within a very short time I purchased a cheap shower head from Canadian Tire and gouged out the flow restricting O-ring. It provided me with a tolerably decent shower for the next ten years.

I even took it with me when I moved and re-installed the fraudulent device in my old unit. Too bad about the new tenants who would be paying about 65% more in rent than I was paying.

Then a short while ago, that trusty old nozzle cracked. I expected it would be harder to find a new hackable shower head by now as manufacturers scramble to appease the Greta Thunburgs of the world by making their products hack-proof.

I reread Tucker's article about shower dissidence and he recommended a perfect solution. It is an easily hackable unit that sells for $1.97 (U.S. I assume.)

I found something that looks identical online so I ordered it, from China, apparently. It cost $1.80 (CDN) plus $5.54 for shipping.

I immediately noticed three things about it when it arrived.

It was stamped with a flow rate of 2.5 GPM.,

There was no washer or O-ring to extract,

And it was made in the U.S.A. (I guess it's legal to make them in the U.S. and ship them to China. And then back here. Nyuk, nyuk.)

Slightly disappointed at the 2.5 GPM. flow spec since that was mandated in the U.S. in 1992, I installed it anyway and tried it out.

Damned if that was not the BEST FUCKING SHOWER I've had in over a decade!

I thought I might be imagining things so I took a pitcher and a stopwatch and measured the actual flow rate.

It was a staggering 3.6 USG per minute.

I just ordered another one in case this one ever breaks and by then the government has figured out a way to stamp out this brazen act of political dissent.

Blocked by Alicia Elliott

Blocked by Alicia Elliott

Another communist sympathizer hides from me on Twitter.

Alicia Elliott

@WordsandGuitar

I don't know anything about this person. She is reputed to be an author.

I tripped across one of her Tweets which had been approvingly re-tweeted by Toronto Star race propagandist, @ShreeParadkar. It said,

"Two authors and I have decided we will not be participating in any events at the Toronto Public Library moving forward if they allow the Meghan Murphy event to take place in their facilities. We would appreciate if you would sign this letter in solidarity."

<Links: mine>

I am not familiar with Meghan Murphy so I don't have a dog in this fight other than to say that if Meghan Murphy has an opinion then she has every right to express it. If that's just proof of my "white supremacy" then so be it.

Ms. Elliott is obviously another in that growing army of left-wing authoritarians for whom "free speech" is a form of "white supremacy" unless it happens to be something they agree with, and then they are all for it.

People like Alicia Elliott have plainly announced that unless you agree with them they will try to silence you, therefore, I see no particular reason to be nice to them. If they want to silence Meghan Murphy, then they also want to silence me, and you, and anyone else who does not at least pretend that the Alicia Elliott's of the world have a monopoly on truth and wisdom.

So I replied to her Tweet,

--

By the sound of it

I would be happy if you were to announce that you will never be participating in any event

ever

for the rest of your life

especially anything that involves discussion of different opinions

since you obviously can't handle that kind of "trauma"

--

I guess she couldn't handle that either because she went ahead and blocked me.

It strikes me as being more than a coincidence that this tendency to censor and block people resonates so beautifully with the saying attributed to Joseph Stalin - "No man? No problem."

And he wasn't just talking about censoring people.

Be forewarned about what our world will look like if people like Alicia Elliott ever get a grip on the kind of power they seek.

Antifa - Feel the Love

Nazi Scum get off our Streets!

I was there at around 7:30. A group of five or six formed a semi-circle around me, screaming "Nazi scum get off our streets," or something. I wasn't even wearing my MAGA cap.

A cop asked me if I had a ticket for the event. I told him I was just looking to buy an ANTIFA T-shirt but they weren't selling any. The cop ordered me to leave. I didn't want to get arrested for trespassing or something like the ANTIFA mob was doing, so I left.

Here is a report from Hamilton's local "News" paper. It doesn't mention Antifa, only "protesters."

Hmmm.

Motel Review

Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth
2 nights in Plymouth, New Hampshire
Sept 6 - Sept 8

When we arrived at the motel two staff were loading a vehicle near the office. The look we got from them was not very welcoming. In fact, it seemed suspicious and unfriendly.

We went into the office where we received a similar reception from the elderly clerk. It was almost as if they didn't cotton to strangers in their neck of the woods, which seems odd for hoteliers. The clerk seemed to know only a few words of English but seemed to be able to identify our booking and gave us a key-card.

About a half hour or so later there was loud urgent banging at our door. I almost jumped out of my seat. My first thought was of a possible ICE raid and that we would be deported back to Canada for not being diverse enough. He was all panicky. There was a problem with the credit card.

Boy. What a great way to relax after a long drive.

Back at the office one of the other guys who "welcomed" us and seemed to have more authority than the elderly guy, though equivalent competence in English, told me I had to pay in advance with my credit card. It was my impression that the bill was to be paid through booking.com as it was at the first motel we stayed at (and the next one after this.) An "argument" ensued if you can call a heated conversation devoid of a common language an argument.

After I checked my booking on my smartphone I noticed the line that stated the bill was to be paid at the location so perhaps this dramatic imbroglio was just a misunderstanding - which leads me to question the validity of the "diverstiy is our strength" mantra. It certainly wasn't in this case.

I was still suspicious though. I tried to ask the guy why, if the bill had to be paid at the property, why the clerk did not ask for my credit card immediately upon checking in? I say, "tried to ask" because the answer was impossible to comprehend due to the afforementioned language barrier.

Okay, so I calmed down a bit and tried to tell myself this was all just an honest misunderstanding. Maybe Booking.com processes some of the bills through their system while others are paid at the property as it said on the confirmation email.

So I took out my credit card and prepared to pay the bill. The guy punched in some numbers and handed me the machine. The chord was too short so I had to stretch over to read the display. It wanted me to enter my PIN number. I could not see an amount.

I knew from my own use of debit machines in my cab that the clerk is supposed to punch in the amount and then hand the machine to the customer. The customer presses the "OK" button and THEN enters the PIN. He could have entered any amount and if I had foolishly entered my PIN I would have been completely on the hook for any amount.

This was where I really started yelling at the guy. "THIS IS NOT HOW YOU PROCESS DEBIT MACHINE PAYMENTS! WHAT KIND OF SCAM ARE YOU RUNNING HERE?"

So I insisted he do it over again and hand me the machine while the amount was still showing. Interestingly, I noticed that when he handed me the machine a second time with the amount showing, the screen also included the instruction, "now pass the machine to the customer." Maybe he couldn't read that part.

I still can't shake the feeling that I may have been scammed somehow so I will have to waste MORE time investigating my credit card bills. This is not a great way to experience a motel stay.

One more thing. We were booked for two nights. On the second day we decided to go fishing. I saw one of the maids outside our room and politely asked her if she would make the beds while we were out. She nodded as if to say "yes" and then said one of the four English words she apparently knew, "towels?"

"No, we don't need towels." Of course, when we got back the beds were not made.

Other than that, the place was well kept, clean, and quiet. Unfortunately that is NOT what I will remember most about my stay at the Red Carpet Inn and Suites in Plymouth, New Hampshire.

But I guess that's what you have to expect when you're a Canadian visiting a foreign country.

Oh! And one more thing. Early in our "discussion" I decided I didn't want to stay in this unfriendly place for two nights so I asked the guy if I could change the booking to just a one night stay. He beamed at the suggestion and said "yes," I could. Something about his enthusiasm for this idea triggered me into half-asking my second question, "but you're still going to charge me for both nights, right?" He was. That struck me as a bit sleazy.

Saira Rao - Race Entrepreneur

They call Trump a racist.

Well, let's see.

I just came upon some Tweets by another US Democrat named Saira Rao. Here are some of them,

"Whiteness is killing us."

"Whiteness -- ALL WHITENESS -- is killing us."

"Make a banner about Ending Whiteness. March Against Whiteness. Rally Against Whiteness. Raise your megaphone Against Whiteness. Take to the streets Against Whiteness."

"Until and unless we eradicate toxic whiteness, the violence will never stop."

From a bio about her,

"Saira Rao is an Indian American Democrat who is a former Democratic candidate for Colorado’s 1st Congressional District. She is also a former television news producer and Journalist who worked in a different station."

Yep. News producer. Journalist. Democratic candidate. It looks like she also wanted to become a lawyer but flunked out and opted for a profession as a race-entrepreneur.

The article also quotes her as saying,

“I’m certainly not going to stop talking about race and white supremacy and oppression. I want white people to listen to what we’re saying, and not be fragile, and not take it personally, and not get defensive. Change happens when you listen,” Rao said.

Right. She's not going to stop talking about race. Wonderful. Just what we need right now.

"Make a banner about Ending Whiteness. March Against Whiteness. Rally Against Whiteness. Raise your megaphone Against Whiteness. Take to the streets Against Whiteness," she demands.

"Change happens when you listen," she says.

Are white people listening to her? What kind of "change" is she promoting? Harmony and reconciliation? Or total surrender?

I predict that so long as people like Saira Rao spew their hatred of white people far and wide that, contrary to "not get[ing] defensive," white folks are likely to do just the opposite.

Is this woman serious? Dishonest? Or just plain stupid?

Is this woman a peace-maker? Or the worst type of racist demagogue?

One of her Twitter respondents says, "this is hate speech. Lock it down." That would be a huge mistake. The vast majority of people of all racial backgrounds want nothing more than to live in peace and get on with life. Rather than "lock[ing] down" her vicious demagoguery, it must be exposed to the light of day so that those who wish to live in peace and harmony know EXACTLY what the leftists of all varieties are truly up to.

Is racism a problem in Western society? Yes. Absolutely. But it's not being promoted by a bunch of unidentified "white supremacists."

That much should be obvious to anyone who is sober.

Now, if you have read this far, go back over Ms. Rao's deeply insightful declarations and replace the word "whiteness" with, take your pick - blackness, Islam, Judaism, etc. Then ask yourself, "who are the real racists?"

Been There. Done That.

One of the few benefits of getting older is that you have a longer perspective on things. My old man used to lecture me with the same argument as he tried to instill upon me the value of experience.

It was pure chance that I happened to pick up Ayn Rand's "Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal" back in 1974. It was chock full of ideas that I had never been exposed to before that time. And that got me started on a path that would probably have been very different from the one I took.

Then a year or two later I heard about the Libertarian Party on a talk show. A friend who had also read Rand called me up, all excited, and told me to turn on CHML. He told me the guests were talking about the same stuff as we were.

From there I ended up joining the party and going to a few meetings. No more than four or five people usually showed up. At one of those meetings a guy gave me a pamphlet for FEE (Foundation for Economic Education) and I mailed in the attached card for a free monthly digest.

Right off the bat it was clear that the information and perspectives contained in the FEE digest were COMPLETELY different than anything I had learned in school or that was available in mainstream media, or even in the public library. And forget about the McMaster University bookstore - it was almost wall to wall Marxism or its derivatives.

I read it for years until the price went from $0 to $50 US for a subscription. By then I had discovered other sources of information and ideas of interest to libertarians including Reason Magazine, Liberty, and a few others.

I had to *actively work* to obtain the kinds of ideas and information that were relevant to me.

Huh!

Of all of my friends and acquaintances over that time, I was the only one who was *actively working* on this alternative viewpoint.

The difference between what I was learning and what was being spewed forth from the established media was stark. For twenty-five or so years I had to put up with the following conversation,

Them: "What are your politics?"

Me: "I'm a libertarian."

Them:

1 - "Liber what?"

or

2 - with a big smile, "Oh, a liberal!"

I knew they were not to blame. How could they know?

I was almost offended.

Then the internet showed up and all of that changed very quickly.

Until now.

In his report, James Corbett says, "my children are going to grow up in a world where they are going to have to *actively work* to get this information."

I know EXACTLY what that means,

because,

Been there. Done that.

Is Internet Censorship Really about Ideology? Or just money?

I think Styx may be right. This may be more about the money than it is about political opinion.

Going by my own experience, I remember how liberating it was when I first connected to the web and specifically, the realization that the print and broadcast media could no longer control the flow of information.

Within weeks of first accessing the web using my 2400 baud modem and the Lynx browser, I started learning HTML and writing my (formerly) letters to the editor directly to the web. My Hamilton-Wentworth Freenet account, as I remember it, came with about 1 Mb of web storage space. I no longer had to pray that some "editor," I.E. corporate censor, would condescend to allow my humble freedom of speech to be actualized by (actually) being published.

And millions of other people had the same idea. A new age of info-freedom was born. What a great ride it has been for a quarter of a century. Freedom!

But as with all good things, it was not to last.

The legacy media began to suffer. They were going the way of the buggy whip. I imagine that for the next twenty-five years legacy media executives were frantically scratching their heads wondering how the hell they were going to put this genie back in the bottle and retain their former privileges as the gatekeepers to the flow of information and opinion. And thus, the flow of the dollars. Or maybe not.

Enter Facebook, Twitter, Google, YouTube, and others whose stunning success created exactly the information chokepoint corporate media could exploit to re-establish its dominance. Whether this was a brilliant pre-planned Pied Piper strategy from the start is something I don't know, but once these entities were firmly entrenched the path forward for media cartels became stunningly clear. For them, it was a wish come true.

These last couple of years have not been happy ones for those of us in the laissez-faire capitalism camp. It starts to look like the Marxists were right all along. The problem, as they like to drone on and on about capitalism, is that it always tends toward monopoly and it certainly looks like this is what has happened in the info-market.

But let's not rush to judgment. Until these concentrated media powers succeed in capturing sleazy politicians, like the Trudeau Liberals, (notice I refrained from the use of expletives here) to employ government power to prohibit and otherwise squeeze out competitors, this story isn't quite over yet. There are still other platforms available, like BitChute and Gab for us info-refugees to emigrate to and establish new settlements.

And when they get conquered and taken over by the capitalist media imperialists, we shall have to colonize some other area of cyberspace. And, unlike landmass, cyberspace is virtually infinite.

It won't be easy but I, for one, have no intention of withdrawing from this fight.

About twenty-five or so years ago I was engaged in some quite intense debates on the Hamilton Spectator's bulletin board. At first, it was called "Compuspec." Then it was renamed "SpecLink." Shortly thereafter I learned about the internet and got myself connected as fast as I could.

My first browsing experience was via the Hamilton-Wentworth Freenet, a free dial-in internet service. I was using the Samsung XT compatible PC I bought in 1988 with 640 K of Ram, a 30 Mb Seagate hard drive, and a 2400 baud modem.

Soon after I got on I caught a glimpse of the HTML code behind one of the docs I was viewing. I thought, "That doesn't look too difficult. I can probably learn it myself."

Up until then, I used to write letters to the editors of various Ontario newspapers. Few ever saw the light of day. It was frustrating.

But this new internet thing was very exciting. It immediately occurred to me that I could post my letters on the internet without having them filtered by biased editorial staff at the newspapers. I could literally self-publish and I have been doing so ever since.

What I didn't realize at the time, but has become all too clear since then was that this new information technology was the hole in the dike for the corporate media.

They could no longer control the narrative!

I was there for the birth of alternative media.

It was truly liberating.

The rest is history.

What we are seeing today, in living color, is a desperate attempt by corporate interests to regain control of the narrative. For the first twenty or so years, I naively believed that the genie was finally out of the bottle and along with the, then seemingly rock-solid right to freedom of speech, never to be forced back in.

But I was obviously wrong about that. And I now realize that the devotion to freedom of speech in the West was pure fiction. It was a fiction that would be tolerated only so long as "the people" remained effectively voiceless.

Of course, the more I learn about history, the more I realize that the Infowar has been going on forever and what we are now witnessing is just the latest iteration in that process.

As we can see from James O'Keefe's report, the Infowar is now more intense and dirtier than ever.

James O'Keefe published the following invitation on Twitter.

I accepted his invitation and uploaded his report to my own YouTube channel.

In the event that is has been 1984'd you can also view it on BitChute.

Note: I followed along with the Google whistleblower and entered the same keywords into their search engine. I took screenshots and saved them to my hard drive.
