As noted in Ivor's video below, peak mortality during the first wave of COVID-19 occurred in April 2020. Here is a screenshot of the all-cause mortality chart from Statistics Canada covering the years from 2014 to 2021. The peak recorded 6940 deaths at week 17 and stands out very clearly.

Note: click on images for larger view.

The same peak can be seen at week 17 if we filter out all-cause mortality for Canadians under the age of 65.

On the other hand, if we focus on all-cause mortality for Canadians under the age of 45 the peak occurrs in week 29 in July 2020, with 365 deaths recorded for Canadians in that age group.

Filtering out male mortality for that same chart gives us the following chart for females under the age of 45. The peak is still at week 29 in July 2020.

Now filter out the female mortality and focus on male mortality for the same age group. The peak does not occur until week 33 and the overall trend remains elevated right up to the last data point reported by Statcan. This is stunning. Why are so many young males dying?

If the excess deaths among males in mid-August were caused by COVID-19, and given a time lag between infection and death of about two weeks, then these excess deaths would have been caused by infections in early August 2020, when the COVID-19 infection rate was very low in Canada. This doesn't make any sense.

According to Stastica, there were only 874 deaths in Canada from COVID-19 in people, under the age of 50, up until April 14, 2022. Compare that to the 34,999 deaths that occurred in people over the age of 60. It's 2.5%. I won't comment on the impact, of the experimental vaccines. That remains a matter of contentious debate. Anyway, the spike in deaths among the under-45 age group happened long before the vaccine rollout in December of 2020.

Something else is responsible for, or contributing to, the elevated mortality rate, especially in males, under the age of 45. I think the cause was the knee-jerk, jackboot response to COVID-19 by politicians at every level of government in Canada. And I predicted it as early as March 26, 2020 when I came across the first report of a lockdown suicide.

And I expanded on the idea on May 7, 2020. Reports continue to roll in as the impact of the lockdowns manifest themselves over the next ten years or so.

I hate being able to predict things. It's actually a curse. I don't claim to be clairvoyant. My predictive abilities were gifted to me back in the 1970s after I read Frédéric Bastiat's 1848 essay "What Is Seen and What Is Not Seen."

Also, when I observed the response of that preposterous charlatan Canadians elected as Prime Minister, it was easy as pie to predict the current degradation of Canadian's purchasing power. This afternoon, two large Tim Horton coffees cost $4.55, up 12% from $4.05 barely two months ago. Do I need to mention the price of gas? Eggs? Milk? Bacon? A can of beef stew?

On a positive note, even the young lady at the Tim's window knew exactly who the monetary thief is.

I sincerely hope that time is running out for that megalomaniacal psychopath.

As for me, it's time for a beer.

I am proud to be among the first to recognize the mass hysteria that attended the Trudeau-subsidized mainstream media's obsessive focus on the spread and mortality associated with the Coronavirus. Thanks to dishonest "news" media, social media, and spineless, opportunistic politicians, the phenomenon that was little more than a severe seasonal flu in impact was upsold by the culpable parties into a once in 100 year recurrence of something on the same scale as the Spanish Flu. It was all bullshit, and I knew it from the start.

Someone who read some of my Anti-BS reports on Facebook, before the censorship got really heavy, sent me a link to Ivor Cummins. I think that was somewhere in early 2020. Ivor has done humanity a great service in spotting the COVID-19 fraud, and explaining it in terms anyone with basic high school math training can understand.

"Ivor Cummins BE(Chem) CEng MIEI completed a Biochemical Engineering degree in 1990. He has since spent 30 years in corporate technical leadership positions. His career specialty has been leading large worldwide teams in complex problem-solving activity."

If you prefer to download your own copy of the above presentation, you can get it here.

Also well worth your time is the movie Covid Chronicles which, I am proud to say, I helped to crowdfund.

In case you missed Earth Day, I am re-posting my Celebration of Earth Hour from back around 2008. It's my way of giving the middle finger to those boosting the climate scam.

And now for something completely different. Another Harvenut Puritan guest rant.

International Energy Agency report urges ENERGY LOCKDOWNS:

What do commies, Nazis, socialists, greens, and "liberals" all have in common?

They are all authoritarians. Every last one. And unfortunately, the vast majority of people fit into one of these categories. Statism is the largest religion in the world, by far. All the sub-isms are nothing more than competing sects.

It's no wonder the climate scam gained so much traction when it was first invented.

As the author points out, it doesn't matter if it's climate, covid, or Russia, the "solution" is always the same.

Walmart Colonoscopies

If there were any sanity in this world, seeking medical services would be no more complicated than shopping for groceries, choosing a place to take the family for burgers, or getting an oil change. And before you say that medicare is more sophisticated and complex, so are smartphones and computers.

Such a radical philosophical change in the ideology of medical care would not yield overnight miracles. It would take time. But how long has the current ideology been trying to find a solution? I still remember sitting in a dark, foreboding, Detol-smelling, mausoleaum-like waiting room at St. Joseph's Hospital, back in 1957, for what seemed like hours because my mother stepped on a rusty nail and needed a tetanus shot. And that was when my parents used to buy private medical insurance. I can't, in my lifetime, remember a time when a visit to a hospital emergency ward wasn't a form of pure hell.

Hospitals should be more like hotels, or nightclubs. The waiting rooms should be inviting, not something like a bus terminal. Have a wet bar and a snack menu. Have some live entertainment, not some muted TV set broadcasting junk news. Toys for the kids. Or even a pool and a sauna.

If that requires the profit motive, so be it.

It's time to eliminate ALL government interference with medical care, including licensing.

Let the market sort it out. In ten years, you'll be able to go to Walmart or Toys'R'Us for broken bones and stitches.

The dying (gone?) muffler shops can re-tool to provide colonoscopies, and if there are any photo studios left, they can re-tool to provide diagnostic imaging, etc.

No appointments will be necessary unless some kind of prep is required.

Open up the market for dentistry, eye care, hearing aids, etc.

Crucially, the practice of occupational licensing must be abolished. Competition and innovation should not be shackled.

Once the protectionist licensing regime is eliminated, all the doctors we hear about, who are driving cabs, can rent space and open up a shop.

The good ones will succeed and set an example for competitors.

The bad ones will kill all their patients and go back to taxi driving.

We can continue to dream that some version of medical socialism is the answer, and continue to pretend we are surprised when it doesn't fucking work.

Imagine if the computer/communications industry had been governed by the same ideology that dominates the field of medicine.

We would still be using acoustic couplers IF we could afford personal computing devices.

Look. Socialism has been tried in so many places and for such a long time, you would think people had grown sick to death of its obnoxious tenacity. The only difference between Bible-thumpers and socialists these days is that the socialists are in almost complete control of the coercive apparatus of the state. And still, we are bombarded with the obtuse crud that the state idolotrists, like those who write the kind of crud we read in the Toronto Star, devoutly believe is the solution.

"The obvious solution to this massive backlog would be a significant increase in government funding and better use of existing public facilities."

Yes, The solution is ALWAYS obvious to these mystics of socialism. Like Sockboy, they think money grows on trees.

Long banned in Ontario, private hospitals could soon reappear

I use the word "socialism" a lot, but it's not really accurate. The correct word to use is "statism," defined as,

The principle or policy of concentrating extensive economic, political, and related controls in the state at the cost of individual liberty.

The reason I use "socialism" is because, I think, it means more to most people than "statism." It's a more familar word, however, if you give it a moment's thought, that the definition of "statism" applies with equal validity to the ideology upon which most political parties are rooted.

Take your pick, Canadian Liberals or American Democrats. Are they not all statists? Most of your city councillors are statists. "liberal," in the current use of the word, means "statist." So does "green," "communist," "fascist," and "Nazi."

EVERY ONE OF THEM have the same sine qua non.

There is one ideology that differs.
