Intelligence Vs. Knowledge

I had my picture taken with Ezra Levant during a talk he did a few years back in Toronto. The man is, IMHO, quite brilliant, notwithstanding the horseshit he, and some of his Rebel Media associates, put out to support the Uber taxi brokerage. It only goes to show that, no matter how razor sharp a mind you have, you can still be lulled into talking absolute nonsense if you lack sufficient knowledge.

The flip-side of this coin, of course, is the so-called "knowledgeable fool." I have known many of these in my lifetime - people who seem to have encyclopedic knowledge of every subject under the sun, but remain nevertheless, utter fools.

I am sure you all know such people.

Then we have, on occasion, spectacular exceptions, like those who lack both knowledge and intelligence, like our current Prime Minister, yet who are taken seriously by dangerously large numbers of people.... including those who like his hair.

I liken it to a computer. A powerful processor is the equivalent of intelligence. A large disc drive is the equivalent of knowledge. One without the other is rather useless.

If I had to choose, I would go for the larger processor.

My memory sucks. But there is no doubt in my mind that the general opinions I hold to this day are the result of countless surveys of data, and personal experiences I have had in my lifetime.

Even though I have long forgotten the specific reasons why I think the way I do to this day, I am confident that it is the result of a step by step progression of stacking one brick on top of another to construct an edifice.

Leftists adhere strongly to their own horseshit because they have also constructed similar intellectual edifices based upon Marxist bullshit and wishful thinking. (No person should have to work for less than X dollars per hour, and so on.)

A mathematician is someone who first had to learn that 1 + 1 = 2. Every thing else he knows is based upon it. (And now we have cultural Marxists even challenging that theory. Afrocentric math, anyone?)

His comprehension of E=MC^2 does not require that he re-question his belief that 1+1=2.

I hope it is apparent to the reader that I am just spewing a lot of horse-shit here as I play around with my keyboard.

But even at that, the thoughts I am expressing, are the result of an evolution.

General evaluation? I think I am in the ballpark.

Once again, the members of Hamilton City Council demonstrate their lofty devotion to principle, and their statesmanlike courage, by boldly supporting Matthew Green's motion to condemn a form of mental illness, namely "Islamaphobia."

Here is the report I got from Hamilton's CATCH newsletter,

Islamophobia

A motion by Green to recognize January 29 as the Day of Remembrance and Action on Islamophobia and to ask the province and federal government to do the same was approved unanimously. It also reaffirms council’s “strong opposition to Islamophobia, like all forms of racism, hate, xenophobia and bigotry."

At City Council, January 24 Minutes p9-10 (16-0)

For: Collins, Conley, Eisenberger, Farr, Ferguson, Green, Jackson, A Johnson, B Johnson, Merulla, Partridge, Pasuta, Pearson, Skelly, Vanderbeek, Whitehead

Against: none

Right off the bat, the faliliar rat smell ought to be tickling your nose. Why single out one out of a long list of phobias for condemnation? Is it out of concern for the sufferers of Islamaphobia?

Or might it be simple pandering to certain constituents with voting rights?

The answer is too obvious to articulate.

The motion goes further, as it reaffirms council's, "“strong opposition to Islamophobia, like all forms of racism, hate, xenophobia and bigotry."

In the old days, it used to be safe for politicians to "affirm" their strong support of mom's apple pie. Today you would be probably be called a racist for making such a declaration. These days, political fashions change faster than the climate.

Therefore, this "reaffirmation" of the condemnation of one type of mental disability is cleverly bundled in with "all forms of racism, hate, xenophobia and bigotry," as a flip-side-of-the-coin ruse.

Gee wiz. Who wouldn't be opposed to, "all forms of racism, hate, xenophobia and bigotry," in this day and age? (Other than your humble author.)

I would like to offer an example. I do so with great reluctance. I genuinely fear repercussions from people who wield political power. It's not that I am brave. It's probably because I am dumbly incognizant of possible repercussions, but here goes,

I am an atheist. Without tangible evidence, I refuse to accept the claim that the universe was created by some all-poweful cosmic being. As Ayn Rand said, "the universe is not a haunted house."

Now, as much as I am familiar with both Islam and Christianity, both creeds subscribe to the belief in a supreme cosmic being, who's behavioural edicts are mysteroiusly passed down to certain chosen humans. I think the idea is nonsense. I would go further, and state my opinion that people who believe in such nonsense are generally simple in the head.

I could be dead wrong. After all, I have been wrong about one or two things in the past.

Maybe these primitive superstitions will prove to be as incontestible as Man Made Global Warming. But I doubt it.

The question then becomes, does my opinion that Islam is no different from any other religious superstition turn me into an "Islamaphobe?"

My general interpretation of Hamilton City Council's condemnation of "Islamaphobia," suggests to me that I ought not express my thoughts on this subject.

Non-compliance would constitute a form of blasphemy. It's not an irrational fear of Islam that is being targeted by Hamilton's politicians. It is any opinion that is less than laudatory of Islam (for some reason, as distinct from Christianity, in which case, anything goes.)

And I will go one step further in my blasphemous ways... and I hope at the very least that this is open to debate,

Seems to me that those parts of the world where Christianity has been dominant have been the most successful in terms of acheiving the highest standards of living ever known on this planet. Nor has it escaped my attention that the Christian world is the one into which so many of those dominated by other religions and creeds, is the one that so many people are trying to get into. (Which of course begs the question: do they wish to turn their new countries into their old countries? Is that a question I am allowed to ask? Or does that mke me a "phobe?")

Which brings me to the other item of vilification to draw the wrath of Hamilton's saintly politicians, "xenophobia."

Xenophobia – fear of foreigners

I don't think Xenophobia is necessarily an irrational fear. History is full of people for whom xenophobia was not irrational at all. Just ask the Incas or the Aztecs.

Sometimes foreign invasions, whether armed, or migratory, can have devastating consequences to the host populations. Therefore, I don't think xenophobia ought to be summarily dismissed as a form of mental illness, nor condemned as a politically, and legally sanctionable point of view.

What was Missing?

Anyone who has been paying attention over the last 50 years is aware of, or should be, once it has been pointed out to them, is the demonization of white people. Despite the courageous virtue signals from the members of Hamilton's City Council, and despite overwhelming evidence of hatred and demonization of white people (see video clips below) ....

Not one. NOT ONE of Hamilton's esteemed politicians even thought about, much less "strongly opposed," .........

Blancophobia – fear of white people or Caucasians

Can you not see it?

We are being told that racism is rampant in our society, yet the evidense is so sparse that the government has hired a Nigerian immigrant, at taxpayer's expense, to invite every member of a visible minority who ever got a crooked look from a Service Canada employee, or had someone to tell them to get off of his lawn, to come into his office and document the event, so that some left-wing "professor" from McMaster can compile and "analyse" these episodes of "racism."

All of this while Oprah Winfrey boldly announces that white people need to die, and Malema admits that he is not calling for the slaughter of white people in South Africa, "for now."

Here is a question I would ask the members of Hamilton's City Council,

If it were a tossup between a black guy being questioned by the police, or doubted by Service Canada, or had trouble flagging a taxi, or.... the appeals by white South African refugees looking for political assylum, in the event that warnings of a pending white genocide in that country turn out not to be exagerated, which one would you prioritise?

The whites?

Anyone who has read this far has proven that they are interested enough in the subject to have given it serious thought.

Therefore, when it comes to the expected response from politicians we all know exactly the political response to expect.

Whichever Way the Wind Blows.

Older people who were marinated in racism have to die. She's talking about the most un-racist people who have ever populated the earth.

I've been driving a cab for over forty years. I am intimately familiar with people who have been "marinated" in racism. It an't the white folks.

Another example of a person who has been "marinated" in the hatred of white people,

Interesting Hitler stuff.

Personally. I think the guy was full of shit, just like most politicians. I'm confident that, had I been alive at the time, I would have ended up in one of Hitler's gulags.

Or maybe on the Russian front.

Or maybe not. I might have caved in to popular opinion, kept my thoughts to myself, bowed and scraped, and hoped for a job or posting that didn't actually involve blood, and guts, and killing.

I remember the time I saw a dead guy lying in the street. I had just finished a taxi shift, when the gas guy pointed down the street and said to me, "dead guy over there."

I then walked up to the yellow tape to get a closer look. A detective came up to me and shooed me away. He said, "you don't want to see this."

But he was wrong, because I want to know about this world I live in. I don't see an advantage in denying to oneself full knowledge of the situation we are all in, nor hoping to glean some insight into the question of why this is the way it is.

And that is why I bought a copy of Mein Kempf, though at my first attempt, I didn't get too far into it because I found it irrelevant and boring. I intend to take a second stab at it. I feel a need to know just how evil the man was, without relying upon other people to tell me, "you don't want to see this."

I'd rather make up my own mind about these things, thank you very much.

That's also why I have an interest in Hitler's speeches.

The Right to be Racist

I just had a brand new thought. I haven't had much time to mull it over yet, but I think I'll just throw it out there in its raw form. (and wait for any hateful invective it might generate.)

Racism is a normal, and natural human characteristic.

That is why it is such a useful political tool.

Since almost everyone is a racist, almost everyone is guilty. Guilty people are easy to control. Socialism (and religion) loves guilty people. (So does Kathleen Wynne.)

The politically correct position is that everyone is the same regardless of the superficial attribute of skin colour. Anyone who questions this belief is automatically considered evil, a fascist, a Nazi, a KKK Dragon etc. etc. even as the left continually tries to use race as a primary determinant of one's success and happiness in life. (Duh!)

The result is that everyone feels a need to publicly oppose racism, while privately practicing it.

Why do they privately practice it? Because they know, through their own experiences that certain racial attributes can be remarkably predictive tools.

Not everyone has the time, money, or resources to do a full statistical analysis on their daily observations as they apply to race. The average person, therefore, is left to rely upon their experiences.

Each individual will have a different view depending on the context of their lives. Someone who rarely interacts with a variety of racially different people will, necessarily, have a different experiential inventory than those, like say, big city cops, health care workers, waiters and waitresses, collection agents, and taxi drivers who, in highly multicultural settings will have enough experiential data that, if it were to be counted, sorted, and analysed, it would certainly yield statistically significant results.

Cab Driver's View: A Real World Example

Hamilton has a lot of Chinese students living here. They take a lot of cabs, both exempt (Uber,) and non-exempt (the rest.)

Over the years I have driven thousands of Chinese students.

This is what I have learned, and if I could turn this into some kind of a casino game, with say, two to one odds, I would be a billionaire in no time.

- Chinese students are never drunk
- Chinese students never eat in the car
- Chinese students never insist on you turning the music up, or changing the station
- they don't deal drugs
- Chinese students are always polite
- Chinese students always respect you and your property
- Chinese students ALWAYS pay the fare

Based upon the thousands of experiential data points I have gathered and stored in my neurons over the years I can confidently predict that the next 100 Chinese students I drive in my taxi will:

- be sober
- refrain from eating
- not bother you about the music volume or station
- there will be no drug deals
- they will be polite
- they will respect your property
- and you WILL get paid

Oh, and they won't puke in your cab.

Chinese students rarely tip. Even so, they never have a problem flagging down a taxi. Because all taxi drivers are racists.

And because race is often a reliable predictor of behaviour.

Politicians can try to use all of the coercive tools at their disposal in an attempt to FORCE reality to conform to their fantasies, but they can never be successful. In fact, as with every other problem politicians purport to "solve" they almost always make the problem worse.

To wit, just LOOK at all of the racial acrimony that now dominates so much of Canadian (and Western) public discourse.

Nice job, politicians!

It took millenia before western civilization understood the wisdom in separating religion and state. It took a thousand years before western civilization adopted freedom of speech as a fundamental human right (and only a few decades to discard it.)

It is now time to recognize that racism is a natural human trait, and that, as such it ought to be afforded the same protections as freedom of speech used to be, and should be again.

To paraphrase Voltaire, "I may not agree with your racial prejudices, but I will defend to the death your right to have them."

At the same time, so far as the law goes, it should be totally colour blind. The rights to equality under the law ought to be applicable to all human beings.

You almost never hear anyone of prominence talk about equal rights anymore. It's now time to forge a consensus that demands equal rights for all citizens regardless of racial, ethnic, or religious background. (For those who don't realize it, I am advocating libertarianism here.)

If we can accomplish just this much in the next few years, we can truly Make Canada Great Again.

What's that I hear you saying? Check my privilege?

You mean, shut my mouth?

FUCK YOU!

You know what the weirdest thing about all this is? (And Ayn Rand predicted this, in terms of the altruistic idealization of self immolation.... just look at how many people now deface themselves with nose rings and other cringe-worthy forms of auto-disfigurement.)

The weirdest thing of all is the number of white people who embrace this fake guilt, and overtly applaud and support the demonization of other people of whiteness.

You could not come up with a better idea for a dystopian fiction novel.

Haha! There is still time.

Having watched the Corbett Report's "5 Privacies You Didn't Know You Lost," I decided to do an experiment.

I've been active on the internet for some time now. And various different photos of me, including me with a butt hanging out of my mouth have been uploaded to the internet.

For example, there is this one,

And others,

So I took a new photo using my personal tracking device

and did a google image search on that photo.

Sidetrack

For those unfamiliar with how to do this stuff here is a short tutorial.

How to perform a Google Image search.

Step one:

Pick an image you would like to search for, for example,

Step 2

Save the image you want to use in your search by hovering your mouse cursor over the image. The pointer will turn into a little hand with the index finger pointing upward. I would have chosen a different finger for this example. Then you simply click the right mouse button once and a drop down menu should appear.

Select "Save image as..." and save the image to a directory you will be able to remember. Give the image a name you will be able to remember.

Step 3

Find Google Image Search on the internet. The easiest way I can explain this, even to the most hopeless computer newb, is to simply google, "Google Image Seach."

Don't worry about miss-spelling "search" you should still find the right page.

It should look like this,

Click on,

and you should arrive at a page that looks like this,

Please note the three icons on the right side of the search box. Look for the icon that looks like a camera. If I have to do that for you too, what you are looking for is this,

Click on the camera and it should take you to a page that looks like this,

Select the tab that says, "Upload an image." Then click on the button that says, "Choose file."

When you do that, an explorer box should pop up and you will have to fish around for the image you wanted to search for.

If you can't figure out the rest for yourself by following the prompts, you're pretty fucking useless, and you should reconsider whether computer ownership is really for you.

End of Tutorial

So I went through these steps with this image,

and this is what the image search returned, (see more here)

Of course, I laughed at the idea of how many innocent assholes would be arrested before they finally narrowed their search down to me.

In fact, I recognized some of the people who were returned by the search.

They included this guy,

And this guy,

And this guy,

And of course, my favorite,

So at least, as far as Google is concerned, they have a lot of work to do before this technology is perfected.

I have no doubt that they will perfect it. When that time comes, the warnings in the following video from the Corbett Report will be too late too heed.

If you value your privacy, you need to pay attention.

The Human Cost of Uber and Lyft: Life in the Dying Taxi Industry

The article I have linked to below details some of the destructive impact that has resulted from the cowardly, opportunistic, malicious, and often just plain ignorant decisions lawmakers have made by radically revising the taxi bylaws.

Some of the terminology used in the report is misleading. For example, the title itself is misleading.

The taxi industry is not dying. Uber and Lyft are taxi companies that are exempt from most taxi regulations because of their political pull, and they are quite definitely not dying.

It is not Uber and Lyft that are killing the drivers of non-exempt taxis, it is their local politicians.

The politicians in most North American jurisdictions have slyly, and dishonestly revised their taxi bylaws in order to give Uber and Lyft a massive competitive advantage over smaller operators with less pull.

Here is the report from KQED in California.

Despite their nauseating virtue signaling over just about every other marginalized identity group, most politicians did not hesitate for one second to sell the marginalized people in the non-exempt taxi sector down the river.

Does "White Privilege" Really Exist?

Part 1

Definition of Privilege

"a special right, advantage, or immunity granted or available only to a particular person or group of people."

Like having your religion singled out as being beyond critisism or reproach.

Lately...

Or, not so lately, there has been an alarming increase in examples of racism against white people.

It's okay for any other designated group to vilify a collective based on skin colour, so long as the colour is white.

And I've been aware of the subtle planting of the seed of white evil for decades now.

I found it amusing at first. Overt racism was being accepted as anti-racism. In it's earliest stages it was called, "affirmative action."

affirmative action

Origins

The term "affirmative action" was first used in the United States in "Executive Order No. 10925",[9] signed by President John F. Kennedy on 6 March 1961, which included a provision that government contractors "take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, creed, color, or national origin."[10] It was used to promote actions that achieve non-discrimination. In 1965, President Lyndon B. Johnson issued Executive Order 11246 which required government employers to take "affirmative action" to "hire without regard to race, religion and national origin". This prevented employers from discriminating against members of disadvantaged groups. In 1967, gender was added to the anti-discrimination list.[11]

Affirmative action is intended to promote the opportunities of defined minority groups within a society to give them equal access to that of the majority population.[12]

It is often instituted for government and educational settings to ensure that certain designated "minority groups" within a society are able to participate in all provided opportunities including promotional, educational, and training opportunities.[13]

The stated justification for affirmative action by its proponents is that it helps to compensate for past discrimination, persecution or exploitation by the ruling class of a culture,[14] and to address existing discrimination.[15]

Notwithstanding the "stated justification," what this policy ushered in was a precedent for the government to become ever more deeply involved in the allocation of goodies using race as a criterion. And what resulted was an increase in the racialization of every aspect of life.

The result was easily predictable.

Race became a commodity. It was like having a special card. It could get you a job, or a government "job," or admission to a racially allocated university program.

In a free market it would have been worthless, but in a political market, it can be worth a lot. It becomes a product, with a price attached, just like a driver's license.

This has emboldened those who see themselves as possible beneficiaries of state involvement in wealth distribution along racial lines. (Mostly those with a communist bent. Like Hamilton's Mathew Green.)

Therefore, it ought come as no surprise that we now see a growing effort amongst those of the communist persuasion, (whether they are aware of it, or not,) to focus upon the group who's ancestors are allegedley responsible for all of the evils in the world.

White people.

I have been white all of my life. That's how I was born. I find the notion that I was saddled with guilt from the moment I entered this world just as offensive as the idea that today's newborns are already saddled with the debts the liberal politicians have bequeathed them.

It makes me want to puque.

This is my declaration:

I was born white.

There is nothing wrong with that.

I refuse to accept any form or level of guilt for any alleged crimes committed by other white people in the past.

And if and when anyone dares to order me to stiffle my opinion, or "check my privilege" because I happen to be white, I am going to tell them to go and fuck themselves.

It's about time white people started standing up for themselves.

It's one thing to go all bravado with phony pride. "I am a Canadian, I watch hockey, and drink beer, and get plastered and walk around yelling, 'Yippee, my team won the game!'

It's quite another to go around declaring that, as a Canadian you are ashamed of your country, and it's Anglo-European history, and the fact that the people who built this country were mostly of Anglo-European origin, is a reason to abolish this country and replace it with third world immigrants.

I say fuck you. Go to Africa or the Middle East. Take your fucking "diversity" with you, and make those countries "strong."

Man. Sometimes I feel like Donald Trump when it comes to negotiating skills.

To wit.

I just finished off a bottle of wine but was not ready to quit celebrating.

My son had one tall can of beer in the fridge.

When I first asked him if I could have it, to complete my work for this day, he refused. "It's my last beer," he said.

So I decided to appeal to his conscience, using the tools I have learned from the left over the years.

"But what about all the times I suffered in this life? What about all the times I have been ripped off by people."

and so on.

It worked.

I am drinking that beer right now.
