Mata Hari

I must have heard that name, referenced in a book or a film, a million times in my life. The most I absorbed was that, at a time when there was no question, she was a woman. (She/Her)

And she was an entertainer, somewhere around the turn of the 20th century. (In France?)

So, I am watching "The King's Man," and it uses names of real people who were prominent at the time of WWI, but that is as far as the history lesson goes. The film is, otherwise, farcical if you're the sort who is anal about historical accuracy. The worrisome thing is that, millions of people get what they think is historical knowledge in this way. From movies and TV shows. That's why they're all freaked out over the fact that the climate tends to change. And then they go out and vote for Liberals or Democrats.

One of the characters is named, "Mata." It hit me that Mata was probably Mata Hari, I decided that this could not go on any longer. I paused the movie and did a search. I had to know who this mysterious person was.

I started reading the Wikipedia article. Wow! It's fascinating.

By the way, as I was reading through it, one entry got my mind darting off in a different direction, as it always does, while Icehouse, "Hey Little Girl" plays on in my mind.

"One enthusiastic French journalist wrote in a Paris newspaper that Mata Hari was "so feline, extremely feminine, majestically tragic, the thousand curves and movements of her body trembling in a thousand rhythms.""

When I read that, I immediately thought of Chris Mathews describing an Obama speech as giving him a thrill up his leg.

"So feline, extremely feminine, majestically tragic, the thousand curves and movements of his body trembling in a thousand rhythms gives me a thrill up my leg."

Hope and Change.

What a fucking clown show.

Cartels and Tobacco

For a long time, I have been saying that tobacco fascism has been the greatest affirmative action program ever conceived for indigenous Canadians.

The attached report shows us that the benefits of affirmative action, via tobacco fascism, are now being exploited by organized crime groups, including Chinese state-linked crime partners, and motorcycle gangs. You would have thought Prohibition would have taught control freaks a lesson. But they never learn.

This is not all bad, though. According to the Criminal Intelligence Service of Canada, illegal tobacco costs governments over $12 billion in lost revenue, which translates directly into the retention of over $12 billion by those whom the money belonged to in the first place. Liberals will cry in their beer over this, but smokers will enjoy their beer that much more when combined with cheap smokes.

For Liberals, the glass is half empty. For freedom lovers, the glass is half full.

The solution is simple.

Human rights.

Specifically,

First: the right to self-ownership: My body, my choice. As with the right to get vaccinated, or the right to amputate one's genitals, or go skydiving, the right to engage in risky behaviour must be defended. Clearly, this includes the right to smoke.

Second: The right to property, which includes the right to decide whether smoking shall be permitted in, or on, their property. Those who object to smoking on private property because they have the right to breathe smoke-free air will find that Canada has a great abundance of places to do exactly that. However, their right to breathe smoke-free air does not confer upon them the right to barge into any random venue occupied by peaceful, fun-loving smokers and demand that everyone accommodate their personal preferences, even if they did vote for Carney.

Implementation

In order to respect the rights of smokers and property owners, the government must abolish all smoking bans, especially when it involves private properties like bars, restaurants, and taxis, etc. A few common sense smoking prohibitions should remain in place, such as, when engaged in refuelling jet planes or manufacturing explosives.

All taxes on tobacco and related products should be cancelled. No one should be exposed to state extortion for simply enjoying themselves. That $12 billion belongs to the people who earned it, not to a bunch of busy-body assholes who believe they have been anointed by some higher power to rule over their compatriots.

From a Google AI overview:

In 1994, Prime Minister Jean Chrรฉtien's government lowered federal taxes on cigarettes, reducing the tax on a carton of cigarettes from $16 to $11. This decision was intended to combat smuggling and organized crime related to the sale of illegal cigarettes. The provinces were invited to match the federal tax cut, but not all did.

Here's a more detailed explanation:

Reason for the cut:

The government aimed to reduce the attractiveness of smuggling by making the price of legal cigarettes more competitive with smuggled cigarettes.

Impact:

The cut led to a significant decrease in the price of cigarettes, which, according to some, contributed to a rise in smoking rates and negative health impacts.

Public reaction:

The decision was met with strong opposition from health groups, who argued that it would undermine public health efforts and lead to increased smoking-related deaths.

At that time, I used to take a lot of sightseeing drives to the Six Nations Reserve. Before Chretien's tax cuts, every Tom, Dick, and Harry on the reserve was selling cigarettes right out of their garages. A carton of genuine Marlboros could be bought for as low as $11 or $12.

Within barely one month of the Chretien cuts, about 90% of those vendors had gone out of business. The policy had worked like magic. And to think, Chretien was a Liberal. It was probably the only smart thing the Liberals did.

The policy did show how effective the tax policy was. Such a move could be expected to have similar impact on the organized criminals currently profiting from Canada's fascistic tobacco policies.

Unsubstantiated Claims of White Farm Murders

Check out the note YouTube has attached to the following podcast. It says,

"Wikipedia • The white genocide, white extinction, or white replacement conspiracy theory is a white nationalist conspiracy theory that claims there is a deliberate plot to cause the extinction of white people through forced assimilation, mass immigration, or violent genocide."

First, note how they bundle the terms, "white genocide, white extinction, or white replacement conspiracy theory" in what they falsely describe as a "white nationalist conspiracy theory." A thinking person is able to distinguish between “genocide” and "replacement." I have seen the latter occur, up close and personal, in the Hamilton taxi business. ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—ฎ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฑ, ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ ๐—ณ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐˜, not a "conspiracy theory." Only someone suffering from severe woke retardation would dare to claim this is conspiracy theory.

Secondly, you don't have to be a "White nationalist," or anything close to that, in order to acknowledge that which you can see with your own eyes.

Nor does there have to be a “deliberate plot” to effect the outcome. It can just as well be derived from political idiocy, of which there is ample supply in Canada. But it doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Another observation I have made since the Afrikaner refugees arrived in the US, is the uniform discipline exhibited in the Junk News (๐˜ข๐˜ด ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ ๐˜‘๐˜ถ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฌ ๐˜๐˜ฐ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฅ, ๐˜ข๐˜ด ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ ๐˜ฑ๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ๐˜ด๐˜ด๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ค๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ฑ๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ๐˜ธ๐˜ด/๐˜ง๐˜ฐ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฅ), as they describe the claims of farm murders in South Africa as "unsubstantiated."

Every,

Single,

Time.

Of course, a topic in which the Junk News media is not interested, does not dare to investigate, and would not investigate for fear it might negate their woke narrative could be accurately described as "unsubstantiated," ๐™—๐™ฎ ๐™ฉ๐™๐™š๐™ข.

Be advised, when it comes to reporting on car crashes, serious crimes, (non-governmental), house fires, traffic, and bake sales, you can pretty much trust the Junk News to report without much bias. But when it comes to politics, you will be better served by assuming the opposite of whatever the Junk News is spreading. The same goes for Wikipedia.

Facebook Has Standards?

Watch this conversation between Alex Jones and Nick Fuentes.

This podcast was blocked by Facebook because it contains points of view that Facebook doesn't want you to see. They claim it is because it goes agaainst Facebook's "Community standards," which is a joke to experienced Facebook users who know full well that Facebook has no standards.

Facebook continues with its dishonest censorship. It took mere seconds before I received this notification. Clicking on "See why," I was treated to this preposterous justification:

"This post may use misleading links or content to trick people to visit or stay on a website." Contrast that with the barrage of paid ads Facebook serves up daily for cheap products and "tax-free" cigarettes.

Is it a coincidence that the page I was linking to deals with media censorship in Canada? And, if you think it's bad now, just wait until Mr. Carney becomes dictator for the next four or five years.

Not Poliver's Fault

At this point, I really don't know what Poliver could do to reclaim his lead. (Yesterday, my son told me he was going to vote for Poliver.)

Poliver had it in the bag, except for two events. One was the resignation of CockSocker Boy. This is exactly what I meant when I warned people, be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. And we did. A whole new face on the Liberal Party which, to the naive, means '๐™˜๐™๐™–๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™š.' And the SockCucking legacy media is milking it for all it's worth. They don't want to lose their subsidies.

C๐™๐™–๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™š? Like fuock. Carney is Liberal fascism on steroids. He is going to stick his fist right up Canada's ass.

The second was Trump's incomprehensible attack on free trade. I thought that protectionism had, at least superficially, been thoroughly, and rightfully, discredited. Bastiat tore the protectionist concept to shit in the early part of the 19th century. After 150 years went by, it looked as though the world had caught up with him. I was wrong.

I don't care what anyone says. Poliver is not the guy to blame. He had no control of these changes.

I am naive. When I heard Trump say that he would bring jobs back to the USA, I thought that he meant he would strip the regulatory state to the bone. (See here. And here.) Man, how stupid of me to think that Trump was smart enough to know this stuff. I'm finally starting to dislike Trump. He's just as full of shit as the rest of them.

Fuock.

Burger Mortgages

I have never used Door Dash. I might have used Uber Eats once, about five years ago, in response to some promotion, but not since. My reasons for not using these services are the same as Matt's.

With respect to consumer laziness, here is a prediction I made years ago. Once nanotech has advanced sufficiently, consumers will be able to avail themselves of the convenience of shitting in their own pants. Then all they will need to do is to tap an app, and an army of nanobots will appear from nowhere to clean it all up. Toilet paper users will be maligned with the epithet, 'Luddite.'

Yoga, Relaxation Seen as Solution

How I learned NOT to talk to reporters over the phone.

When this guy asked me what I do for a living, I told him I was a stay-at-home dad at the time, but that I had worked as a chemical technician, and that I was currently working part-time as a cab driver. All true. He chose to go with, 'Unemployed chemical technician.' Technically true, but a smear job nonetheless.

Observe how that came out in his version, plus the fact that he bundled my story in with a bona fide wingnut.

Then when I got a call from Mathew von Dongen about my signing the 'climate emergency' declaration I refused a telephone interview. Instead, I told him to email the questions to me and that I would reply by email. This way, I would have a record of what was actually said vs. what was reported. I guess Joanna Frketich got the assignment. Her report was satisfactory.

Ordering Fried Rice?

Just a brief segment from Pierre Berton's book, "My Country." It provides some perspective on the indigenous way of life, eulogized by present-day media, academics, activists, and politicians.

It is derived from the writings from a guy named Samuel Hearne, who was sent to find a giant copper deposit in Canada's north land.

I am not making any judgments here. It was what it was. I don't judge dogs for their strange obsession with smelling poop, either. Samuel Hearne didn't judge, either.

So far, Pierre Berton seems to have escaped the censors.

His descriptions of the food they ate, and which Hearne learned to eat and enjoy, like raw fish, beaver fetuses, and animal guts, are enough to make you gag. There is a bit of humour where Berton describes how they enjoyed picking the lice out of their hair and clothes and eating them. (You vill eat zee bugs!) Another delicacy was warble flies from rotting flesh. It says Hearne didn't eat the lice and flies because he didn't want to risk acquiring a taste for them, knowing they might be unavailable when he returned home. (or, at least, for another 200+ years.)

If Canada stays on the course it's currently on, we may all learn to enjoy eating lice and warble flies soon enough. To "save the planet."

Ring, ring.

Herro, can I take your Oeder?

Yes, I would like to order some fried rice.

Flied lice?
